Three flatmates share a house, and none of them are quite what they seem. One needs blood to get by, one turns into something else once a month, and one died and never really left. All they want is a quiet life: jobs, bills, a landlord who doesn't ask too many questions, and nobody finding out what they actually are.

It is less about things jumping out of the dark and more the slow worry of your own nature catching up with you at the worst possible moment. The scares sit underneath a very ordinary flatshare comedy, so it creeps rather than shocks, with plenty of dry humour tucked in alongside the dread.

This is one for an evening when you want something a bit uneasy without losing sleep over it, ideal with the lights down low and a strong cup of tea. It ran for five seasons and thirty seven episodes on BBC Three, so if it hooks you there is a good stretch of it to work through.
