Helstrom does the thing I love best in horror: it takes a name and makes you sit with what it means. Daimon and Satana Hellstrom aren't just squabbling siblings, they're built on Marvel Comics characters whose surname was never going to be a coincidence, and the show lets that unease sit under every ordinary scene rather than shouting it at you.

This isn't jump scares and slammed doors. It's the slower dread of a family history you'd rather not inherit, dressed up in proper drama and just enough fantasy world-building to keep things strange. If you like your horror tangled up with sibling tension and things left unsaid at the dinner table, this scratches that itch nicely.

Best saved for a night when you want something moody rather than terrifying, something to half watch with a blanket and a strong coffee while you wait to see exactly how bad the family business gets. Ten episodes, one season, so it won't eat your whole week either.
